Claire-Anne is a Public Affairs Consultant with Stratagem, having joined the company in 2007. Her current responsibilities include monitoring the work of Northern Ireland Assembly, government departments and political parties for a variety of clients, and she has developed a particular expertise in the health and social care sector.
Claire-Anne’s client work includes support for the public affairs activities of, among others, the Institute for Public Health in Ireland, Diabetes UK Northern Ireland, Cancer Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Support, the Northern Ireland NHS Confederation, and the Pharmaceutical Contractors Committee.
She is involved in the Stratagem / ComRes MLA Research Panel, working with organisations in using this panel to deliver bespoke political perceptions audits. Claire-Anne has also delivered training to a number of organisations on the Structures of Governance in NI and on the structure and reform of Health and Social Care here.
In June 2008, Claire-Anne graduated from Queen's University, Belfast with a First Class Honours degree in Psychology and was promoted to the position of Research Executive within Stratagem before taking on the role of Public Affairs Analyst.
In October 2011, Claire-Anne became a Consultant at Stratagem. She delivers public affairs advice to the wide-range of health clients.
Claire-Anne is Chair of charity Beyond Skin, an organisation which uses the arts to address sectarianism and racism in Northern Ireland, promoting cultural diversity and global education. In this role, she is responsible for the governance and strategic direction of the organisation, providing support and advice to its five full time members of staff and over 60 volunteers.
