MLA Research Panel
Stratagem and ComRes, a specialist London-based polling and research organisation, have teamed up to bring an outstanding and unique product offering - The MLA Research Panel. The key purpose of our panel research is to improve the communication process between the Assembly and those organisations that are affected by its work.
The panel gives organisations a unique chance to engage with a balanced group of over 55 MLAs across all political parties. These MLAs have agreed to respond to questions in a short questionnaire sent two to three times a year. Stratagem guarantees a response rate of at least 40 MLAs.
Organisations in Northern Ireland have already made widespread use of this research tool in order to:
- Position themselves by assessing politicians' levels of awareness of / attitude towards the organisation;
- Gauge political opinion on upcoming ideas, policies or opportunities;
- Find out what MLAs really think of various organisations and their key issues;
- Explore whether ideas are effectively reaching the corridors of Stormont;
- Obtain evidence of how strongly individual political parties are supporting their cause;
- Show Boards or Directors tangible facts and figures of how their organisation is impacting with MLAs.
This is the only such panel of MLAs in existence. Panels in the UK of MPs, Peers, Scottish MSPs and Welsh Assembly Members have become well-established and are all maintained by ComRes.
You submit the questions - we do all the number crunching, analysis and interpretation.
Our MLA Research Panel is conducted with our partner ComRes. All work is undertaken in accordance with British Polling Council rules and is conducted strictly in keeping with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct.
