Claire-Anne Irvine
Public Affairs Analyst
Claire-Anne is a Public Affairs Analyst and joined Stratagem in 2007. Her current responsibilities include monitoring the Northern Ireland Assembly for a variety of clients, primarily in the health sector. Claire-Anne compiles Stratagem's Weekly Health Monitor and also assists with public affairs advice and support for a range of clients, carries out research projects and is involved in event management support.
Current clients include the Institute for Public Health in Ireland, Cancer Research UK, Diabetes UK (NI), Macmillan Cancer Support and the Pharmaceutical Contractors Committee. She is involved in the Stratagem / ComRes MLA Research Panel, working with organisations in using this panel to deliver bespoke political perceptions audits. Claire-Anne has also delivered training to a number of organisations on the Structures of Governance in NI and on the structure and reform of Health and Social Care here.
Claire-Anne's project support work has seen her co-ordinate a range of events including the design and delivery of a study visit to Northern Ireland for a group of senior Lebanese journalists in September 2008. Also, the first ever Learn Direct Achievement Awards in Northern Ireland, the inaugural Slugger O'Toole Political Awards in 2008 and various seminars and conferences for Stratagem and The Consultation Institute.
In June 2008, Claire-Anne graduated from Queen's University Belfast with a First Class Honours degree in Psychology and was promoted to the position of Research Executive within Stratagem.
Claire-Anne is a non-Executive Director of Beyond Skin, an organisation which aims to use the arts to address racism and promote cultural diversity and also works with Public Achievement youth project, Where Is My Public Servant (WIMPS).
