CIPR Northern Ireland PRide Awards 2009

One of our longest term clients, the Energy Saving Trust (EST) hosted its 12th annual ‘Energy Saving Week’ in 2008. Dedicated to encouraging consumers to save energy, this flagship event coincided with the launch of an EST advice centre in Belfast as well as increasing political concern about increasing energy prices, fuel poverty and climate change.

Stratagem adopted a three pronged communications approach planned to secure coverage throughout the week in the local, regional, online and broadcast media, and held a major event at Parliament Buildings in Belfast which one-third of MLAs attended.

This innovative and successful approach to Energy Saving Week was recognised when Stratagem was awarded the prestigeous Gold Award for Public Affairs at the CIPR Northern Ireland PRide Awards 2009.
